Day 3 of Christina's cold delirium... when I read this, I thought, "Moo Coo. Sounds like a cookie or pastry with cow spots. Served with ice cold milk, of course. Either that, or a pigeon/heifer hybrid."

Margo Moon said...

moo coo - 1. any herd of bovines exceeding a certain number, usually a repeating decimal. 2. the distinctive sound made by certain dove-like birds while drinking a particularly cold, delicious glass of milk.

April doesn't massacre the language, she behances it.

I can see it now. Move over Merriam-Webster, here comes the dictionary o' April. Certainly more entertaining.

Mars: This one is growing on me. I've used it several times today...

Christina: I can totally see how both of those things could come to mind - and I'm not on the loopy meds. Not sure what that says about me....

Margo: I so have to put you and April together. Ya'll could knock out this Aponex book in no time. She could provide the phrases, you the definitions. I love "behance". Love it!

Cory: uh-huh. You know first hand how goofy she is.... :)

Have you ever heard of E.E. Cummings? Gertrude Stein?

These GENIUSES often turned language on its head to achieve stunning, if not always completely understandable, poetry.

She offers you moo coo tidbits of poetic goodness and you laugh.

Scoff now, mere mortals.

My hat is off to you, April E.E. Stein.
