I owe a great big thank you to everyone who voted for me (and pimped out my website)for the 2008 Bloggies Awards. It meant a great deal to me and the support I received was amazing.
Perez Hilton may have won the category, but I still feel like I won thanks to you guys!
Music. My Way.
On the first of every month, I share the music I love. Some of the artists I know. Others I've just discovered. Most I hope to actually interview. I'm also hoping there won't be any need for restraining orders.
One day, I'll make enough as a writer to at least pay my electric bill. I'm certain of it and don't feel I'm aiming too high. Until that day comes, if you have any spare change you'd like to donate to my "famous writer girl fund" I'd love you more than my dad loves his painter jeans. That's huge love people. HUGE. Also appreciated are regular readers and comment leavers!
I write frequently about April's inability to repeat any common phrase with accuracy. My pal Lisa (of Omyword) submitted this quote as something April might say, and it was too good not to post indefinitely.
"Well, off the top of my elbow, I'd say that putting the box before the horse, then checkin' it four times to see if you've been haughty or play dice, would be as supportive of someone as a fight at the end of the chunnel."
About Me
I blog, about all kinds of stuff. I have a cowboy hat that makes me feel ten feet tall and bullet proof, a guitar I can't play and a girlfriend I love dearly. Her name is Betty Ruth (my guitar, not my girlfriend - her name is April).
April is the founder and president of her own language, Aponex. You too may suffer from this disease if it's impossible for you to utter a common phrase without jacking it all up.
