Calm Before the Storm

Word on the street (and on every weather channel and website) is that we are getting ready to be clobbered by what could be a historic snowstorm.

I've heard everything from 24 to 30 inches.

Just so we're clear, I took out a measuring tape and 30 inches comes up to my lady parts.

That's a lot of snow.

It's been drizzling a light, steady snow for about an hour now, but it's not sticking yet. Hits the car and melts.

I took a few "before" photos and will update my blog as the storm continues.

Needless to say, I'm all for a big snow. Not sure my lady parts agree, though...

MY lady parts have not been visited by rain nor sleet nor snow nor storm in so long that a little bit of ANYTHING would be welcomed now!

When you eventually shovel the snow, just make sure not to do it naked!

Weese: I know right?! And yep, we gots plenty of booze and wine to make sure we can make it through the storm (or clean a major wound should our shoveling go awry...)

MM Sugar: I totally laughed out loud at your comment - tee hee.

People: I could go the clothed route, but really, what's the fun in that?....

reef: I'm gonna do my best! but there's only so much a 5'2" girl can do with 30" of snow!

Yep, for once it is mostly missing us up here where we always get killed with the lake affect stuff. Enjoy the white stuff. :-)
